Come experience Cougar Culture at Chicago State University! At CSU, where academic excellence meets real-world experiences, you’ll explore our rich history and vibrant community. Join us for a campus tour that includes an information session, a walk through our historic grounds, and a stroll among the lush trees that fill our campus. With opportunities to ask questions along the way, you’ll see firsthand what makes CSU a unique and welcoming place to learn and grow!

Your experience includes:

  • Information Session – Get a comprehensive overview of CSU, including admissions details, student life, and campus resources. Learn what it means to be part of Cougar Culture, and get all your questions answered.

  • Department/Major Overview – Explore one of our academic buildings and discover the departments and majors we offer. 
  • Campus Tour (Walking) – Join our Student Ambassadors for a 45-minute walking tour of our campus. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended!

Schedule a Visit

High School Group Tours & Information Session

Our high school group visits accommodate 15 to 35 participants and last approximately 2 hours. Each visit includes an admissions presentation, a guided tour of our campus, and activities tailored to your group's interests and availability.

  • Schedule: Group visits are available Monday through Thursday at 10:00 a.m. We release available dates by semester.
  • Group Size: Groups with fewer than 15 participants must schedule their visit with a group visit coordinator at admissions@au99168.com.
  • Chaperones: Students must be accompanied by teachers or adult leaders, with at least one adult for every 10 students.

Elementary and Middle School Group Tours

For younger groups, we offer 45-minute tours, also accommodating 15 to 35 participants, and typically lasting up to 2 hours.

  • Schedule: Tours are available every second and third Friday of the month.
  • Activities: Includes an admissions presentation, a guided campus tour, and additional activities customized to your group's needs.
  • Group Size: Groups smaller than 15 must also coordinate with our admissions team via admissions@au99168.com.
  • Chaperones: At least one adult per 10 students is required to ensure proper supervision during the visit.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your visit, please notify us at least three days in advance to avoid limiting future scheduling opportunities.
